10 Eco-Friendly Holiday Wreaths (Some You Can Eat)


There are plenty of eco-friendly ways to make your home festive during the holiday season — potted plants instead of Christmas trees, beeswax candles instead of paraffin, organic linens instead of pesticide-laced ones, and energy-efficient LED lights, to name a few. One of our favorite ways to bring holiday cheer into homes is with wreaths: They don’t require moving furniture, they’re easy to store when you’re not using them, and they’re a natural way to infuse your house with the season’s best smells. But we still hate the idea of chopping down lumber just to decorate our homes, so we hunted for wreaths that don’t involve large tree chunks.
