Exactly one week from now, all of your rational ideas about calorie intake will rapidly fly out of the window in honor of Thanksgiving, and chances are, so workout routine, health rules, and alcohol consumption limits. The day of gluttony that kicks off the holiday season certainly won’t be the last between now and 2011: You’ll encounter table after table full of roasted meats and fatty gravies, carb-heavy sides served with a generous wallop of butter, and irresistible bacon-wrapped hors d’oeuvres. There won’t be any shortage of booze (or hung-over mornings spent appeasing your throbbing head with eggs and sausage), either.
