HealCam.com: Social Networking for Sick People?


In a (presumably) more sanitized version of popular chat-cam site ChatRoulette, MedGadget recently launched HealCam.com, a social networking hub for people with common ailments to show off their assorted wounds, swellings, and pink eyes on streaming video. “Does this look infected to you?” can now be answered authoritatively by complete strangers.

HealCam is, of course, just the latest tech spin on the age-old approach to wellness and healing: Having a support system in place to offer unprofessional advice.
